Hotel Radisson San José receives Ecological Blue Flag recognition
The Climate Change category award recognizes the hotel’s efforts to strengthen a more sustainable and environmentally responsible operation.

Hotel Radisson San José has achieved a new milestone in its environmental management by receiving recognition from the Ecological Blue Flag Program (PBAE) in the Climate Change category, with one White Star.
This achievement reflects the actions implemented over the past year to reduce the environmental impact of the hotel’s operations, optimize the use of resources, and continue strengthening an organizational culture committed to sustainability and responsible climate action.
For a hotel operation, this commitment is particularly relevant due to the use of resources such as water, energy, and fuels, as well as waste management. Participation in the program provides an opportunity to evaluate and strengthen these practices while contributing to Costa Rica’s broader environmental efforts.
The White Star recognizes compliance with the program’s established criteria and represents an important step toward increasingly robust environmental management.
The recognition also reflects the collective efforts of the hotel’s employees. Everyday actions, including saving water and energy, properly managing waste, and actively participating in environmental initiatives, contribute directly to building a more conscious and sustainable operation.
Through this achievement, Hotel Radisson San José reaffirms its commitment to continuing its journey toward an operation that is increasingly responsible toward its surroundings and the future.
