Tenors Candlelight: An Evening of Awareness and Hope

On June 9, the grand Teatro Popular Melico Salazar hosted an evening where music, solidarity, and awareness came together to deliver a life-saving message.

Grupo Comeca, in collaboration with the Prostate Cancer Prevention and Awareness Association (APRECAP), helped organize the Los Tenores Candlelight concert. This event drew over 600 attendees in observance of World Prostate Cancer Awareness Day and Father’s Day.

Lit by the soft glow of hundreds of candles, the evening created an intimate and emotional atmosphere. Los Tenores performed a selection of their most memorable songs, deeply moving the audience while reinforcing a crucial message: early detection saves lives. Among those present were business leaders, media members, survivors, and their families, all of whom were moved by a meaningful artistic performance.

The event was part of APRECAP’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness, educate, and inform about the importance of early diagnosis in men’s health. Besides communication campaigns, the organization conducts talks and informational programs that promote preventive measures, fostering a culture of care and prompt attention.
