Significant Progress in SAP Implementation at Grupo Comeca

Implementing SAP systems included Envases Águila in Chile, Envases Comeca, Technoends and Industrias Unican in Costa Rica, and EPINSA in Peru.

In the steadfast continuation of the ambitious SAP project, Grupo Comeca is making steady and relentless progress toward the corporate standardization that has marked the beginning of this implementation. In recent months, the Information Technology Department has significantly strengthened, adding professionals well-versed in SAP, BeaS, Produmex, and industrial engineers, who have played a crucial role in various strategic areas.

This reorganization has led to the creation of a Master Data area, whose primary function is the standardized coding of critical information such as raw materials, products, and spare parts, among other data essential for managerial information and the comprehensive functioning of Grupo Comeca.

Furthermore, implementing an area for direct support and implementation with Grupo Comeca's IT personnel has been successful, showing efficiency from the outset of its operations. This approach ensures close and personalized attention, grounded in a deep understanding of the particularities of all operations.

In the final phase of implementing WMS systems in Guatemala, a significant step will substantially improve warehouse and inventory management efficiency in this region.

Simultaneously, we have initiated the data construction phase for second-wave companies, configured servers, and prepared initial work for the testing and training stages. This process lays the groundwork for the go-live of SAP systems in second-wave companies, including Envases Águila in Chile, Envases Comeca, Technoends, and Industrias Unican in Costa Rica, and Epinsa in Peru.

These second-wave companies' commitment and exemplary dedication to this project are deeply appreciated. Their active participation is essential for the ongoing success of SAP implementation at Grupo Comeca, marking a milestone in the constant pursuit of operational excellence and business efficiency and continuing to advance with determination towards a new era of innovation and efficiency throughout our operations.
