170 trees of different types were planted in a protected water recharge area.

Employees of Empaques San Lucas, together with their families, planted 170 trees of different types on Sunday, May 28, in a protected water recharge area in Guatemala.
The motivation for this action is awareness of the environmental reality, the nearby community's needs, and the company's business, which involves the use of paper and cardboard.
The activity was in 33 reforested hectares in Cerro Nimachay, the San Bartolomé Milpas Altas Shipyard, 8 kilometers from the plant.
Volunteering helps the environment and, in turn, fosters a sense of belonging among the participants and the search to fulfill organizational objectives that are friendlier with nature.
The initiative reaffirms the commitment of Empaques San Lucas to its community to make a better Guatemala for future generations.
