Radisson Hotel Chef wins an award at the Food Show 2022 Maestros del Gusto - Costa Rica

Erick Solano Herrera has been creating exquisite dishes for the hotel for the last 13 years.

Last September, MAYCA Food Service organized the Food Show 2022 Maestros del Gusto, the largest gastronomic event in Costa Rica, where the best culinary figures meet.

As part of the interactive cooking activities, the contest “Take a tres leches to the next level” was held.
Erick Solano Herrera, the pastry chef at the Radisson San José Hotel, won the most innovative tres leches award. His tres leches was of pejibaye–the peach fruit from the palm tree.
Solano has developed with success and dedication as an international chef for 13 years at the Radisson Hotel. His experience adds up to more than 30 years in the pastry business.
He continues to enjoy his work, as if it was his first day, making art through good food, exceeding expectations of those who try his creations.
If you want to taste his spoon, you can visit Especias Restaurant at the Radisson Hotel. The award-winning dessert is occasionally in the executive menu options and can also be requested 24 hours in advance.
