New Acquisition: Grupo Zapata's Operation in Costa Rica will be part of Grupo Comeca

The purchase expands the portfolio of products offered by the Group's companies in Costa Rica.

Grupo Comeca extends a cordial welcome to Grupo Zapata Costa Rica employees, who will soon form part of Envases Comeca.

Grupo Zapata is a company with operations in Costa Rica since 2005. It specializes in manufacturing and selling crown caps and twist-open caps–used by the alcoholic and non-alcoholic carbonated beverage industry. It also fabricates tassel containers for industrial additives.

Both are product lines that Envases Comeca does not currently produce, so the operation will strengthen its product portfolio to offer better service and value to its customers.

The corresponding authorities have approved the acquisition, and now the integration process continues orderly, guaranteeing the quality standards that characterize our Group.

The news is an excellent advance for collaborators, suppliers, and the Costa Rican community.
