Grupo Comeca Initiates Management with Leadership Program

Management processes toward a high-performance culture.

The third version of the Management with Leadership program begins in May 2023 and ends in October 2023. During these five months, participants must attend 14 virtual workshops of 3 hours each.

The program aims at seven management teams from various companies of Grupo Comeca:

1. Grupo Comeca y Financiera - Costa Rica.

2. Prodenvases- Colombia.

3. Impresora Delta - Costa Rica.

4. Empaques San Lucas - Guatemala.

5. Metalenvases- Guatemala.

6. Containers Corp.- Guatemala.

7. Radisson & Country Inn Hotels - Costa Rica

In total, there are 54 participants, from the three countries mentioned, from various areas of work.

During the program, work will be done to improve management at three interrelated management levels:

• Personal management: personal factors that affect one's leadership.

• Team management: tools and approaches to develop work units.

• The management of the company: actions that impact the organizational culture.

German Retana, who has comprehensive career and professional experience, teaches the program. He has a Ph.D. in Administration from the University of Southern California, a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, a Master's in Business Administration from INCAE, and a degree in Sociology from the University of Costa Rica. He did other studies at the Economics Institute of the University of Colorado. He is certified in executive coaching and Belbin team roles.

The goal of this online program is that the managers of the different companies of Grupo Comeca have more and better tools to lead their work teams toward a high-performance culture.
