A year ago, the Epinsa team set the goal of achieving BRCGS certification and completed it in the second quarter of 2023.

The General Manager, Eduardo Arróspide, commented, “It was not easy, but necessary. The markets, especially in the agro-industrial sector, are becoming increasingly demanding, and this certification puts us at the level of their needs."

The certification is recognized across industries worldwide as one of the most rigorous third-party certification schemes.

What is BRCGS?

BRCGS is a market-leading global brand that helps build trust in the supply chain. It sets the benchmark for good manufacturing practices and helps assure customers that products are safe, legal, and high-quality.

The BRCGS certification is subsequently applied to the primary production stage. General requirements include compliance with GMP, adopting a HACCP, implementing and maintaining a Management System, and adequately providing control systems. Products, processes, and people.

To whom?

The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety has been designed to apply to any organization regardless of size and location. It is a standard used by suppliers and retailers worldwide.

How the BRCGS Food Safety standard benefits your company

The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety standard facilitates the standardization of quality, safety, operational criteria, and compliance with the legal obligations of manufacturers. It also helps provide consumer protection. This standard allows benefits to companies such as:

  • Access markets where this standard is required

  • Inform customers who recognize the standard about their status

  • Helps fulfill obligations established with distributors

  • International recognition of your organization in terms of food safety and your distributor

  • Supply Chain and Consumer Assurance

  • Covers all areas of product safety and legality

  • Identification of aspects to vary throughout the entire life cycle of your product

  • Carry out audits combined with ISO 9001 and HACCP standards.

The effort and commitment of the entire EPINSA team resulted in the achievement of this valuable certification.
