Empaques San Lucas creates environmental awareness in the childhood of its community in Guatemala

The activity benefited 35 children from San Bartolomé Milpas Altas, Sacatepéquez.

In July 2023, Empaques San Lucas organized an activity to create cultural and environmental awareness for children in San Bartolomé Milpas Altas, Sacatepéquez. In total, 35 children of different ages participated.

Before the activity, children had to recycle at least ten aluminum cans at home.

Then, Eng. Fredy Villatoro, head of Integrated Systems at Empaques San Lucas, led an educational talk about the importance of environmental awareness. The activity closed with the delivery of lunch boxes in cardboard boxes for the children.

The efforts are part of the volunteerism and social responsibility program that the company has towards its nearby community.
