The Christmas season has a particular meaning for Cartopel’s collaborators in Cuenca, Ecuador. They have had a tradition of making and exhibiting to the community a nativity scene for over 25 years.

The teamwork of the graphic design and maintenance departments with their respective workshops makes the activity possible. They worked for months on the concept and execution, achieving outstanding results.

The work, in its beginning, had traditional figures made of cardboard. This has been perfected and evolved. Currently, the figures are life-size and are accompanied by different settings and decorative elements displayed throughout the green areas of the company’s facilities.

Over the years, the Christmas nativity set of Cartopel has become a city attraction in Cuenca during festive times.

For this reason, the company was in charge of designing the setting and a replica of the nativity set to be exhibited in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Cuenca.

The following is a video shared by Cartopel.
