After a thorough election process, the Steering Committee selected a comprehensive software solution to have information flow consistently and securely across the organization:

• SAP for accounting systems.

• Beas for production systems.

• Produmex for logistics systems.

This combination of systems allows Group Comeca to transcend and modernize in the technological field, constantly seeking standardization and efficiency in all its plants. In addition, this project automates manual work, allowing employees to spend valuable time analyzing and understanding data to outperform their daily activities.

Currently, Group Comeca started implementing and stabilizing the systems in four companies: Prodenvases in Colombia, Empaques San Lucas, Metalenvases, and Containers Corp in Guatemala. The following companies to implement will be informed at the time and will find many essential advances in processes that the Information Technology department will have already overcome in the previous stages.

This initial phase is the most challenging of the project since it requires much more effort and communication to master the tools and new processes implemented. Once the implementation is complete in all companies, the Group will have a tremendous competitive advantage. A robust information platform that will enhance internal and external business decisions.
