Industria Unican in Costa Rica has taken a significant step in this direction with its recent team integration workshop.

In an ever-evolving business world, change management has become essential for any organization striving to remain competitive and relevant.
This event, which focused on understanding change management, a culture based on values, and the importance of teamwork, has been a milestone in its journey toward excellence.
Understanding and Embracing Change
The workshop was structured into three critical stages, reflecting the phases of change, each designed to guide participants through a journey from denial to acceptance and internalization of change.
Stage 1: Status Quo - Change is Approaching: In this phase, participants faced their comfort zone and became aware of the need for change, evaluating the limitations of the current reality.
Stage 2: Transformation – Change Has Arrived: Initial resistance gave way to a formative process, managing uncertainty and exploring the opportunities that change brings.
Stage 3: Established Change - Acceptance: The final stage focuses on accepting change, designing an action plan, and internalizing new commitments, focusing on execution and goal achievement.
Key Objectives and Achievements
The workshop aimed to raise team members' awareness of the necessary changes in personnel management and the culture of values and promote active listening between management and employees. Bringing leaders closer to their teams and strengthening trust built a solid foundation for effective and committed teamwork.
Activities and Methodology
Each workshop activity highlighted specific values and fostered collaboration through play and reflection. This playful and reflective approach allowed participants to connect their experiences with the work reality, promoting a greater assimilation of the discussed concepts:
Indicating the Value to Work On: Each activity began with identifying the core value to develop.
Game and Team Building: Activities followed the stages of team building, from search and definition to the assimilation of new knowledge.
Final Reflection: A structured experience, including reflective observations and their application, was carried out in the work environment.
Results and Future Projections
At the end of the workshop, the team evaluated their current level of trust, adaptability, and commitment. This self-evaluation is crucial for fostering an environment of continuous improvement, self-management, and satisfaction.
The success of this workshop lies not only in the knowledge imparted but also in the commitment each member of the organization has made to apply it in their daily lives. Moving forward, they will continue to foster a work environment that values collaboration, innovation, and personal and professional growth. Industria Unican is prepared to face the challenges of the future and is confident in the solidity and cohesion of its team.
